Updates to FitterFaster

I just received an email from the Fitzgibbons who are on holidays for a whole month in QLD.  I’m so jealous!!  They sent me some picks of the family doing some home workouts.  Now that’s dedication for you.

Also, last week’s Bootcamp attendances set another record.  140 attendences!!!  Can you believe it.  Well done to everyone who has stepped it up a notch and is on the way to exceptional fitness and weight loss results.  Remember it takes extraordinary commitment to achieve extraordinary results. Strive for better than ordinary and you will achieve it.

Just a few house keeping issues to update.

ADVENTURE CAMP

As most of you know, Adventure Camp is only weeks away now.  For those who don’t, FitterFaster is running it’s first weekend camp to a secret destination on October 10th and 11th.  The weekend will be full of physical activity including a few ‘secret’ challenges and also some yoga, hiking etc.

Any Bootcamper is welcome to come along.  The bus is almost full, so if you would like to be a part of Adventure Camp, let me know asap.   The total cost is $300 per person which includes your transport, accomodation and all meals and snacks.  It also includes the costs of the activities we are going to over the two days.

The full fee is required by the end of September.  An Itinerary can be found on the latest newsletter which you all should be receiving in your letter box in the next day or two.  Otherwise, I did post it a couple of weeks ago on this blog, so scroll down and take a look.  If you would like any further info, please contact me directly.

GREATEST LOSER CHALLENGE

We are almost 2 weeks into the second Greatest Loser Challenge and all participants are going really really well.  We have reports of lots of weight lost already and also talk of having more energy, feeling more alive and just general feeling better.

I have nominated the Team Captains for the duration of the Challenge and they are………for Black Team-Darren Ross and for Red Team-Doug Ratcliffe.  So congratulations guys.  If any of you are yet to join the FitterFaster Forum, make sure you do so straight away and join you team members.  Your team captains will keep count of who will be attending Team Challenges, so make sure you let them know via the forum when the week that the challenges are on.

ASSESSMENTS

Lots of you are due for assessments over the next few weeks.  If it is coming up 5-6 weeks, make sure you head to http://www.fitterfasteronline.com and check the calendar (bottom tab on navigation bar) for available times over the school holidays.  It would be great for me if we could get as many as possible done over the holidays before basketball etc gets back into full swing next term.

CHOLESTEROL TESTING

Something I have wanted to do for a long time is keep a track of improvements in cholesterol levels.  I have just purchased the machine to do just that and so now have the means to test blood glucose, cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Those of you that have been tested by your GP before commencing at FitterFaster and then again even just weeks later have noted improvements in  levels that were above healthy.

The FitterFaster Lifestyle changes are not just for looks.  You are improving your health and performance as well and lessening the risk of suffering from common diseases and conditions such as cardio vascular disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and cancers.

The equipment and the consumables that go with the testing kit are quite expensive, so if you wish me to check your levels, I will be needing to charge a small fee of $5 to cover it.  The test is entirely optional, and will be available from next week when the equipment arrives.  Anyone who is due for an assessment once I receive everything will be given the option to be tested, and those that wish to do so before  their next assessment can email me  as above to make a time.  Please check the calendar at http://www.fitterfasteronline.com first.

BOOTCAMP CHALLENGES

I know I have been promising this for a while, but I think I am just about ready to conduct the first FitterFaster Fit Girl and Fit Guy Challenges.  I haven’t settle on a date yet, but am thinking either Sunday 27th October (if I get organised that quick) or leaving it till after Adventure Camp on the 18th of October.  I am thinking 9am or 9.30am.  Please leave your comments about this if you have a preference.
